The kubectl firebolt plugin lists, creates, deletes, and port-forwards Firebolt resources using your existing kubeconfig.

Install the plugin

Build the plugin from the repository and place the executable on PATH:
The plugin requires kubectl on PATH. Any executable named kubectl-firebolt is available through kubectl firebolt.

Select a cluster and namespace

Commands use the current kubeconfig context and its default namespace. Override them with persistent flags:
Use --kubeconfig to select a kubeconfig file. Use --print-commands to print the underlying kubectl commands without changing the cluster.

Work with Instances

List Instances:
Output formats are table, wide, json, yaml, and name. Forward a local port to an Instance Gateway:
Select an Engine behind the Gateway with the X-Firebolt-Engine request header.

Create an Engine

Create an Engine and wait for it to become ready:
The plugin does not configure scheduling. Put node affinity, pod affinity, topology spread constraints, and related defaults on the EngineClass or Engine pod template.

List, connect to, and delete Engines

Use kubectl firebolt --help or kubectl firebolt <command> --help for the complete flag reference.
